Mitered Squares Afghan
I originally designed this afghan to use up left overs, and I am diligently working away on
an afghan for myself. In the meanwhile, my knitting friend, Jacky, decided to make one in
Noro Silk Garden. I think it is the most beautiful piece of knitting I've ever seen, and
she graciously loaned me her afghan for the photo. The pattern includes instructions for fill-in
triangles along the edges and you might want to add a garter stitch border. Jacky elected to leave hers as is, and
you may decide to as well.

Kathy's Mittens
I designed these mittens for my
sister, Kathy, who was learning to knit and wanted to be able to knit perfect mittens.
With two little tykes and a teenager, she is one busy Mom, so these work up quickly.
These easy mittens are great to make for little ones, because there is no
"right" or "left" hand. Sizes fit infant (thumb-less version),
toddler (S), pre-school (M), kinder-garten (L).
